Reallyyy hoping this challenge tomorrow is a bluff. Because there's no way in Hell we're going to win a live challenge, especially since I won't be there unless it gets moved to 10 =x

The fact that we are literally going to tribal twice with four people is a bit ridiculous. Sorry for bitching, u know I respect the work you guys do as hosts, but it really doesn't feel fair that the tribes are allowed to get this low. Especially since we've had mostly live challenges which required everyone to be online, which obviously was not our strong suit as an inactive tribe. Less double tribals (or, hell, a double where both tribes had to go to tribal maybe :x ) and more variety in challenges wouldve greatly helped us as a tribe and prevented us from getting to literally the endgame.
Again, sorry to bitch, but these tribals have become less fun and more just exhausting emotionally.
That said, since the numbers are so low I've decided to go into "merciless gamebot" mode. Barring any immunity idols, I have the advantage right now. Austin is inactive, natalie is voting hot dogs, hot dogs is voting austin. I get to essentially decide who goes home this round, and I'm definitely choosing Austin. It doesn't make any sense for me to vote out hot dogs when Austin is literally inactive. That is me speaking both from an emotional and strategic side. I'd feel fucking awful if hot dogs left over an inactive, essentially since it would be a massive betrayal. Strategically, it makes the most sense for me as well. When Austin leaves, Natalie and Hot Dogs are going to vote each other. I will be the deciding vote. If I were to keep Austin this round, and he were to come back tomorrow, then suddenly I lose my deciding vote status. Austin will vote me because he's clearly closer to Natalie -- I saw that during the Glyn vote when he instantly took her side. And I will obviously vote Austin, so my fate would be in Natalie's hands.
And I'd prefer to keep my fate in my own hands for now.
Basically, I have the advantage right now, and I'm going to press it. There's no point in chickening out and letting Natalie take the advantage when it's already in my hand.
Now, how I sell me voting Austin will be pretty important. I'm basically going to appeal to the emotional side of the argument -- that it totally isn't fair that we are letting hot dogs leave over an inactive, yada yada yada. I just have to make her confident that I will keep her next round and then...well, I'll decide who I vote out.
Now, there is a caveat to all of this. IF Austin does actually come back before deadline tonight...I'll probably have to vote hot dogs. Because it'll be 2-2, and if Simon loses the tiebreaker like I'm fucked lol. And I'm pretty sure he would. So yeah...really hoping that Austin decides to just not log on. :x

I mean technically we've had three challenges and two of them were live. So that's only one more than we've had nonlive. Plus one of those life challenges was the ball throwing and catching. Which if you look at last season even though it's live Cindy pretty much won for my tribe single-handedly. So it didn't require the whole team. See you guys had four chances to cut out any inactive and poor challenge performers before the five challenger required a strong unified team ;-) if you guys choose to vote on strategy and tribal lines As opposed to challenge strength and activity you can't blame us ;-) good luck tonight!
PS, you can also just blame it on hotdog for choosing these people LOL ;-)

you have points, but 2 live challenges and 1 non live is still a majority of the people :X and with double boots, it means 4 people have left due to live challenges
and yes while we have had the opportunities to vote out inactives (which I will argue we have voted out inactives with ricky and steuart, but that's besides the point), but I honestly think that any combination of people couldn't beat the other guys out, especially in live challenges. Live challenges also are biased towards larger tribes just because they can sit out the people who are either not great at live challenges or can't be there. We HAVE to have everyone =x
And yes I agree, it is simon's fault for picking these shitty people
I'm not saying you guys should have done anything differently or thrown us a bone or something. The set up of the game is fine, and ultimately it is our fault that we are in this situation. I just needed to vent, because tribal councils with small amounts of people in pre merge are really one of my pet peeves for a lot of reasons which I won't get into.

anyway, austin is back, power trip over. There will probably be two votes on simon tonight unless he forgot to vote.....<.<
This is a very very very tricky situation and I'm not sure how to proceed. I told simon he is getting votes tonight and that he should idol if he has one. I suspect he does, so hopefully he sees the message and reacts accordingly.
I will probably ultimately end up voting simon, and then crossing my grubby fingers that I make it through the next round. I'm afraid I'm gonna get idoled out, honestly.

This is probably the first time I've felt insecure in this game. I feel like I'm going into a dark cave, holding Natalie's hands and completely trusting her to lead me through it. She's told me that she's going to keep me but we're at the point where of course she is going to say that.
Voting out Simon fucking SUCKS and I honestly hate myself for doing it. I honestly think I've gotten soft throughout the past year or so in terms of cutting allies. Normally I'd be able to off Simon no problem, but now....it's very difficult. It doesn't help that I really don't think it's in my best interest =/ but what can I do really

okaaaay that worked out. I feel bad voting out simon, but what's done is done. Kinda praying there's some sort of RI twist and he gets to come back
now we're at another hard vote...honestly one of the hardest votes I've been a part of. I think the lowest I've ever gone in a tribe is 4, so this is a new experience and one to cross off the bucket list.
I'm working hard to try to come out of this with no votes. It's tough because we are all saying the same thing to each other -- that we're gonna vote w/ each other. And with the numbers so low, anything you say is PROBABLY gonna get sent to the other person in order to try to keep ourselves safe.
Before the vote, Natalie and I agreed to vote Austin and that is what I'm planning on doing. I think Natalie will too, ultimately. She seems pretty set on taking him out because he's hardly active.
Now, I think Austin is going to vote ME probably. I think him and natalie are incredibly close, and he will probably want to keep her around. Now I am trying my BEST to avoid that by giving him a pitch to vote natalie. I told him that him and I would have the best shot of making it far in the merge because we can lay low, while Natalie is probably going to draw attention to herself (and me by extension) in a negative way. The THING IS is that I am honestly buying my own pitch. Like it is probably worse for me to take natalie to the merge over Austin.
Unfortunately, I have like no faith that Austin is being real with me. It SEEMS like he is being real, but like...it's something that's very hard to tell over AIM. Just in case, I'm making sure to send Nat everything I'm doing so she knows I'm legit with her. But the goal is to convince Austin that he's safe -- and then he hopefully won't idol if he has one. If he votes Natalie...well....oops on him :x but yay to me for not getting a vote

^ a plus side though is that I'm pretty sure I was the first to approach austin about the vote, if nat wasn't lying to me about not talking to him. So maybe that'll get me some brownie points?
