Finally off of exile island, I had to eat Kathy in order to survive. She tasted like rotten whale blubber, needed some spices. I now have the situation about the idol clue I got. Do I tell everyone? Do I tell no one? Do I just say I got nothing? A lot of things could go wrong with the way I play this. I want to find the idol myself or at least know who has it, knowledge is power in this game and knowing where an idol is chilling is fucking huge.
So I make my way back to camp and immediately Cody messages that he misses me. Aw, I missed him too. He gives me the lowdown on what happened w/ the Amber boot and tells me that Nat and Austin made an alliance w/ him and they wanted to be the 4th (more on this later in this entry). Tim also tells me what went down w/ the Amber boot and pretty much the exact same story as I got from Cody. Very happy she is gone since I had zero connection with her.
This challenge is going to make me want to murder my entire fucking tribe. I'm already so god damn annoyed with all of them. At first they wanted to do a Hunger Games story and like that's literally so fucking boring and unoriginal, it's the easiest concept to do and just booooo and the I suggested something that I think would be very interesting and a fun read, that's what this challenge is about, making something that will be both creative and entertaining for the judges to read! I suggested we do And Then There Were None which for those not familiar, basically a murder mystery where we don't know the killer until the very end. It was pretty quickly dismissed, which annoyed me greatly especially given that the next idea thrown out there was Mario Kart... How the hell are you going to make an entire 24 person story about Mario Kart. What was worse was that this was catching momentum like fucking stop trying to murder this challenge in the wrong way. Finally it got onto an idea I thought was pretty interesting, somehow changing tv channels was brought up and that made something click in my head so I decided to pitch the idea that we start off with Survivor but then someone gets voted out and the person watching the show gets annoyed their fave leaves so they change the channel but the cast from Survivor follows to the next show, with basically snippets of a combination of different shows that would each have creative ways of eliminating people from the game and eventually make their way back to Survivor where we would get a winner and reveal who was changing the channel. It was going perfectly until Tim decides to take control and just make everything boring and lame and use the same TV show to eliminate multiple people. Like he wants to eliminate the first 4 people from American Idol. That just sounds so boring, like change it up and make it fun instead of beating a dead horse with the same show. I have low expectations at this point, I'm just overly annoyed with everything.
Back to the alliance, Natalie eventually approaches me of the idea and pitches it like she wants to start a brand new alliance w/ Cody and Austin (when I fully know that those 3 already have a chat and Cody has been filling me in on everything) so I play dumb and let her think this is all brand new information to me. To ensure Natalie trusts me I tell her the idol clue (I also told Cody as soon as I got back). Other alliance update, Holly confided in me that she thinks Cody is disingenuous about our alliance but we can use him as a number. I won't bother Cody with this information just yet, we might need Holly. I get fed info from Cody and Natalie that Holly/Tiff are close and Tiff/Tim are close. If we lose this challenge, I really want Tiffany out or Tim at this point because he's fucking driving me insane and really making this challenge suck. I'll update more as the round progresses.
