Chapter 3: Someone Blew Up Amsterdam

So since my last entry I was able to speak with Burnie before leaving Exile Island. He handed me the idol clues before we left exile. It was very nice of him and not at all necessary. I have made it clear, I am not a fan of having immunity idols, they normally leave a false sense of safety and I would rather feel like I am always in danger.   

I did return to my tribe and viewed the third idol clue. I immediately knew the password to the board. 30 seconds later after knowing Latin was a dead language I was in the idol board and had claimed the idol. However Katia made a mistake and deleted the post. This is bad because Tiffany recognized that there was one less post in there. That alarms me, she is very perceptive. That said, I don't believe I will tell anyone about the idol. I do not want to have people targeting me. I feel like right now my target is relatively small. 

The challenge this week was basically a typing challenge. Who can type the fastest? Apparently both other tribes! Myself, Natalie and Austin scored points. I am super surprised since until now Natalie and Austin have been basically in the background of this tribe. It was great to see them step up. So Amsterdam is going to tribal council, and I have mixed feelings about it. I knew immediately that hotdogs does nothing for my game, I don't want to see him stick around. 

Basically the entire first night of the vote, no one says anything. Everyone is afraid of being the next Amber. I am just waiting for one person to say hotdogs so I can jump on that train and ride it straight to tribal. Tiffany told me in private she wants Dustin out and she had been playing an online game with Hotdogs. This does not make me happy, as she knows who he is outside of this game if they are playing a well-known online game. How many close allies does she have now? I decided to go to bed so I could figure out a tactic to use in the morning. 

When I spoke to Tiffany that morning, I wanted her to know that I was not okay with pushing for hotdogs to stay but I was still loyal to her. She basically stabbed me and told Hotdogs that I was gunning for him and he spent several minutes trying to talk to me. In doing so he gave me one piece of information I did not already have. He said Tiffany was gunning for Dustin and Cody, and I personally thought she was close to both of them. While she had mentioned her reasoning’s for voting Dustin out this week, she had never once mentioned Cody. I did not break her confidence in me, by telling Dustin about the vote. When I had approached him this morning to see what he wanted to do, he said he heard Tiffany was targeting him from two other people and was going into defensive mode to boot her. 

This lead to a stalemate of Tiffany targeting Dustin and vice versa. Now I made it known I wanted to work with both of these people, and this has made my desire stronger to be rid of hotdogs. He basically went around throwing Tiffany under the bus. While I am annoyed she used my name, I do still like her. I did think her double dealings would catch up with her eventually. I pulled her aside and said this is one of the reasons I wanted Hotdogs out of the game. She took some time to consider her options, realized she's been screwed over and is now willing to vote him out. Well better late than never I suppose. 

I spoke with both Dustin and Cody; I don't think either is willing to save her at this point in time. Cody told me it was okay if I still voted off Hotdogs. I don't want to betray people this game, so I will stay true to Tiffany and do what I said voting to evict Hotdogs. That being said, I don't believe I can push very hard to save Tiffany because she might be a sinking ship now. It would be great if both she and I stayed this week, it would be a wakeup call she needs to shut her damn mouth. (Sidebar: this tribe needs to shut their damn mouths; everyone knows everyone’s business, so annoying)
 I think it might come down to who can convince Austin and Natalie to side with them.  I will give Tiffany credit if she can pull that off.  She knows where my vote is heading, she only need to pull over two more if she votes the same way.  I wish her luck.  I am going to be very annoyed if Hotdogs get out of this situation scott free.

I feel like this week I have solidified stronger relationships with both Cody and Dustin. Holly is away at exile, or I would have been able to count on her vote. I just hope this somehow isn't an elaborate rouse to have me evicted. You know, it would be amazing if that were the case. It would be fantastic to have so many layers of a blindside and have myself ultimately pay the price. Now I shall leave with a boot list and I hope it’s not my last one.
