Confessionals Round 5: "Yankee Swap"

So before I talk about this swap, I will recap the last tribal.

Austin and I were a little nervous about how close Dustin and Tim might be and didn't want to just keep voting off the people Dustin got in a fight with then wanted out, and we were also nervous about an idol so we decided to talk to Dustin and Cody about splitting the vote and that was the plan.  Dustin Cody and Tim were going to vote for Holly and Myslef Austin and Holly were going to vote for Tim.

WAS being the operative word.  For whatever reason Austin didn't vote so now I look like the jackass that dind't vote in the majority and I couldn't talk to Tim about it because....



TRIBE SWAP and Tim is gone.  That is good I guess, as either one of us will get voted out and I won't have to deal with it, or enough time will pass that it doesn't matter.

So thoughts on the new tribe:

We barely talked but were aligned in an alliance that never did anything lol but it is better than being stuck with Tim



My ally and probably closest friend i the game <3  Still felt he was closest to Dustin, so glad they are separated so we can become closer.



My #1 ally <3 So happy he is with me to keep me sane. I trust him 100%. Although I hope everything is ok as he basically disappeared last night and didn't vote and hasn't responded to any message all day even though he is online. Hoping everything is ok personally #prayforAustin

Getting to know



I really like talking to him so far.  We talked about life, and survivor and other stuff.  Easy talking to him.  Potential ally.



Seems nice, but a little boring.  Conversation feels a little slow and forced, but nothing bad about him.



Fun personality, but very strange!  I feel like I dug deep enough to get a little more depth to him, and is someone I think I would like to keep around although he could be a wild card.

Ugh, what is with the girls like being irrelevant.  Hopefully I'm not on another Vagicide tribe.


Also something I noticed, was the order we are in the tribe is not alphabetical like it was before.  It seems to be in the order that Simon picked the tribe, which means he picked me LAST out of our original tribe.

What a bitch.  Not only that, what concerns me is that is appears he picked Cody first.  I found it weird how Dustin was helping him with the idol clue and immunity, and now Simon is picking Cody first?  Hmm.  Dustin must be making deals and bringing Cody along with all of them.  That or Cody is just socially amazing (which is true).

MY guess is that Carrie picked Dustin first.  They were both on exile together and both seem to be the biggest threats in the game.  I would not be surprised if they are actually aligned (and probably have Tim with them).  Time will tell, but I just hope we win immunity so I don't have to deal with trying to save myself.

So Shelli finally showed up, and she seems really fun. We talked about girl power so hopefully we can stick together a little bit but she hasn't been around since she has been on vacation.

I'm hoping I wasn't "too much" in the challenge. It just bothers me when we have to decide something and people are just standing around with their heads chopped off like "uh der....."

So I split everyone up based on what they said their strengths were, but Shelli and Jasmine never said anything so I had to guess where to put them.

However after seeing the other tribes layout I thought to myself "Well fuck". It seemed like they might have put strong people one the easy ones to get as fast as time as possible since the difficulty doesn't really matter, all that matters is the time.

Ricky and I discussed putting jasmine on the extreme one in case she doesn't show up that way we don't lose points on the easy one, however Ricky had already posted he was doing extreme so it was too late.

And shocker...Jasmine never showed up...

I'm not feeling hopeful about winning so I am switching gears to tribal already. Shelli said she did her slider in 30 seconds so I think that means she may go to exile. With Jasmine not showing up, my strategy is to target her first which would leave us with 7, and then in tribal 2 there will be 4 old Amsterdam so we can maybe stick together and vote out one of the other 3.

However I kind of like some of them better than Simon. Him picking Cody first sketched me out, as well as he and Dustin helping each other. Getting Cody out would be huge, but I love him to much to do that yet (and I don't really have beef with him, just Dustin).

My strategy now is to keep up with my social game (which I think I have been doing well with) and appear to be helpful enough that people see me as an assett to keep.

Once people start talking the vote, I can always use that I was the last girl stanging on old Amsterdam since the guys had an alliance and people could use me for a vote.

My worry about targeting Jasmine (especially if all 4 of us at old Amsterdam remain and don't go to exile) is that the others will realize that leaves 4 old Amsterdam as majority in the next vote and they may not want that. If someone from old Amsterdam gets targeted I need to just start selling hot dogs down the river.

So Hurricane Jasmine appeared out of nowhere and completely changed things up!

We were all set to vote for her since she didn't show up, then out of the blue a few hours before voting she shows up with a screencap of her idol.

I'm like BITCH PLEASE I AM ON MY WAY TO REHEARSAL, I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS SHIT...

We ended up switching the vote to Ricky in case she did play her idol, and also Ricky and Steuart like just failed to show up at all last night so there was no discussion with them and we all started to become closer to Jasmine.

I feel terrible though, since Ricky and I worked closely with each other on the puzzles and discussing strategy and I told him I didn't want to vote for him, but then things changed and he wasn't around to defend himself, so BYE

I clicked with Steuart immediately and after a couple days we formed a Chorizo Alliance. I was looking forward to working with him, but he has not been on aim since the day before the last vote, and he was in the minority vote last time, and has still yet to show up online. I wanted to try to save him, but I'm not going to stick my neck out too much and he still has yet to show up, so I don't know if he was pissed at the last vote and has given up, but that is kind of a shitty way to go out.

Right now he is the vote, and I can't really save him since he is not here anymore. So long Chorizo alliance </3

Ok so Steuart finally showed up and was like hi im here but gotta go so k bye!

I told him he was getting votes since he wasn't around and he really appreciated it. I genuinely liked him and told him i would let him know if his name came up, so I did. He apologized for being a shitty ally and disappearing for a day. He wants to flush Jasmine's idol so he voted Jasmine. I told him I would try to see if I could save him by getting more votes on Jasmine. We will see how far I go on that.

My strategy now is to try to gain as much info as possible, and keep up good realitionships with everyone in case anything fishy goes down I won't be targeted.

Steuart gave me some info before he signed off. He said that the pw to the idol clue was the same on Bruxelles, and that he wasn't aware of any alliances but that he felt Dorothy was HBIC. He also said he didn't talk to Ricky or Shelli at all.

I was also talking to Jasmine and hinting that all the boys were voting out the girls on my old tribe and that us girls needed to stick together. She agreed and then starting telling me shit about her old tribe. She said the girls on her tribe were sneaky and that she hates Jaclyn and wants to get her out as soon as possible.

My gut is telling me to keep Steuart, but if I do then I would alienate my entire alliance since they don't have the same bond with him as I do. I just fear that we are going to keep losing immunities and when we get down to us 6 we are going to get to a vote and be like, oh wait Jasmine has an idol now what?

I mentioned this all to Cody and we are discussing. If there is something I am doing wrong this round, it is giving too much info to Cody, but I got 3 hours of sleep last night so I have just been TALKING TO EVERYONE LOL

Anyway I decided that it was safest/smartest to just cut Steuart and to try to not cause any waves at this point in the game. RIP Chorizo alliance </3
