AND THE SWAP HAPPENED!
What a crazy twist of events. Of course we all guessed it was coming at some point and when Carrie became the 'tribe leader', we all knew what that meant in some way. I knew she would end up picking the tribes, but I thought we would be swapping into THREE new tribes rather than two since there were three tribe leaders, but oh well. Anyway, Carrie picked like the most amazing tribe ever. We are all mostly active and good at challenges so I am real excited. The other tribe is going to get decimated.
Speaking of Carrie, her and I formed an alliance called The Blonde Squad. Not sure how much trust I have in it yet, but hey, it's there if I need it. The swap put 4 original bruxelles members with 5 other lux and Amsterdam members. On paper, this looks bad for us since the other two tribes would likely team up and decimate us since we are the power tribe, but in reality, I think we have a good advantage going into tribal (knock on wood). Burnie and Tim went to exile together and so Tim already really likes Burnie so the rest of us are talking to him a lot to get him to trust us. It seems like he was an outcast on his tribe, so we will gladly take him in.
Personally, my favorite new tribe member is Dustin. We get along really well. He obviously could be playing me, but I really do think we have a genuine connection....which is why we are now an official SHOWMANCE! Our stage name is Dustulia if anyone cares. Obviously we're keeping this under wraps so people don't think we are too inseparable. Anyway, we are both quirky and I love talking to him. We'll see what happens with this.
The rest of my original Bruxelles tribe members seem to like Ian a lot, including me, but I don't think I want to align with him. I feel like he is well-liked by everyone and would definitely jump back to his original tribe given the chance. Him and Jaclyn are close too and we all hate Jaclyn since she is honestly a robot...sorry not sorry. Anyway, she would probably be the first to go and since Ian is close to her, we would probably have to go against him as well which is good since I deem him a big threat.
Kathy is probably the most inactive of the group so who knows what will happen with her. She's nice, but she's probably with Ian and Jaclyn as well.
I can totally see a Bruxelles/Amsterdam alliance happening between the 6 of us and that's exactly what I want to happen in case of a tribal.
Hopefully we will never go to tribal again since we're so good. Unfortunately, when the other tribe went to their two tribals, both people voted out were original Bruxelles members which does not bode well for us. However, this means that 4 Bruxelles members are now out of the game which only leaves 5 of us which actually puts us on par with the other tribes so I wouldn't take us as a threat anymore even though we are all super tight still.
I will write more starting at Episode 6 since I have to go to work now.
