Immunity Challenge #6 - Having a Ball
Come on in, guys!
Welcome, everyone, to your sixth Immunity Challenge!
Today's Challenge is called "Having a Ball", in Tree Mail, you were asked to designate two "Pitchers", three "Catchers", and two "Blockers", and here's why!
Below here are your specific tribe-colored golf balls.
Here's how the challenge works:
The Tribe's "Pitchers", may post the image of their tribe's ball at any time. They may only launch one ball at a time. If anyone wonders why, well, let's just saw we now have the Cyndi Lauper Rule. Cyndi launched the balls at a ridiculous rate, spamming the board to the point where Viljandi's blockers could not possibly keep up. To make the job of the Blockers actually doable, Pitchers may not Pitch another ball until their most recent one is Caught or Blocked.
One of the three "Catchers", must then catch the ball.
To catch a ball, simply quote your tribe's catcher's post of the ball you are attempting to catch, and type "CATCH", in all capitals beneath it. Each "Catcher" must catch five balls. The first tribe to catch 15 balls wins Immunity. Once you have caught five balls, as a catcher, you are done and relegated to the sidelines for the remainder of the challenge.
Now, this seems easy enough, right?
WRONG! This is where the "Blockers" come in.
Each Tribe has two "Blockers". The "Blockers" job is to block the catch of each ball. In order to successfully block a catch, quote the image of the ball the opposing team's pitcher threw, and post "BLOCK" in all capitals beneath it. If you successfully "BLOCK" the ball before a member of the tribe can "CATCH" it, the attempt was successful and no catch was recorded.
This challenge is done LIVE here in this thread!
Every hour, I will lock the thread and post an updated catch count. In the wee hours I might not be around, but otherwise I should be.
In the event of a tie, in which neither tribe finished in the 24 hour time limit, the tribe which caught the balls first will win Immunity. If neither team has won after 24 hours and there is no tie, the tribe with more caught balls will win Immunity.
To attain Exile Island this round, there are two foolproof ways:
If you are on the winning Tribe, the first Catcher to have caught five balls is going to Exile Island.
If you are on the Losing Tribe, the Blocker who successfully prevented more Catches from the winning Tribe is going to Exile Island.
Here is what, exactly, is at stake:
1st Place: Immunity, Safe from Tribal Council.
2nd Place: Attend TC/Vote out 2 Members.
Good Luck!
