So I got back from exile and was able to get into Bruxelles idol thread relatively easily. Deciphering it took some changes but I eventually got it. I found the idol had been taken. Now, I know Carrie has been to exile 3 times, so there is a good shot that she has the clues and I know Burnie received two clues in week 2, when he gave them to me. So logically I assume one of the two had it. Burnie approached me when i got back and I gave him the third clue to see if he could figure it out. I had been trying to build a relationship with Carrie last week so I figured I would approach her about it. I was not planning on outright accusing her, but rather seeing if she was going to offer it up willingly. She did and I am so thankful she has the idol. As a sign of good faith between us, I told her that I had Amsterdam’s Idol. She mentioned how we could use the idols to help maneuver us to the final 2. While it would be awesome sitting there next to Carrie, I don't actually think I will be getting to the finals or anywhere close to it for that matter. I am simply not as cut throat as I use to be in these games and I feel like its reflecting.
I told Dustin I was able to get into the idol board and that the idol was missing from it. I need to keep a clear connection between the two of us. He is going to be my only shot at reconnecting with Old Amsterdam in a future scenario. It is very important him and I remain close. Ian messages me again, and he has started nicknaming me Thor. If there is a good player from the original Luxembourg tribe, it’s definitely him. He has said I am the only one he feels comfortable talking game with. I don't mind at all, but I sort of keep names from coming out of my mouth until I can really trust someone. I mostly did a lot of listening when it came to Ian.
I reached back out to Julia and Dorothy just to make sure I am at the forefront of whatever they are doing. I want to remind them that I do not want anything to do with Old Amsterdam in case we wind up going to tribal. With the other tribe eliminating two from Bruxelle last round, that puts the original tribes at 6 for Amsterdam, 5 for Bruxelle and 5 from Luxembourg. The majority of us thought that Jasmine would be toast after her underwhelming challenge performance last week but she pulled a rabbit out of her hat (I will touch on this later). Clearly Old Amsterdam is either working together in some capacity on that other tribe; they have overwhelming number at this point in time with a 4-2-1 majority.
I have not heard from Jaclyn or Kathy this week, you know every tribe needs their Austin/Nat wall paper. I guess Jac/Kathy is this tribe’s wallpaper. This is super disappointing since they survived four tribal on their original tribe only to basically swim with the sharks on nu Bruxelle.
The challenge for this week was catching balls, and I proved to be an expert. I caught a few in my pants and one or two with my face. Needless to say we annihilated that tribe. I wonder if that is their strategy at this point, get themselves down to a tribe of one. Guess who is stuck going back to exile? Me, fantastic -_-. I might as well just love there permanently. I have lost so much time with my social game being stuck over there, and it’s basically increasing the bull’s eye on my back. I actually was happy to see Jasmine win her way to exile so I could pick her brain on what was happening on nu Amsterdam. That being said in the short term, the more we keep winning the better shot i have of putting myself in a merge situation. I find I tend to excel in a merge scenario if I’m not one of the people immediately targeted. I am going to appreciate the power of this tribe during this phase of the game in hopes that they become bigger targets then me when the inevitable merge happens. Smoothing sailing right now, so I don't have much to complain about.
Anyway back to Jasmine, she explained to me that she survived by telling the other tribe she had the Luxembourg’s idol and Simon decided not to chance getting the votes so they voted off Bruxelle people. Now I know that she played her idol last week of Luxembourg, Ian told me. However Glyn was on exile that round, so he has no idea presently being the only Luxembourg member over there aside form Jasmine that it’s been played except for her. Pretty great strategy, I have to say. I bet they are all collectively kicking themselves for not striking against her this week. I almost hope she finds exile islands idol (she has the clue for it) and can Idol hot dogs out. Since when she goes back I feel like there is a strong chance there will be at least 3 if not all 4 original Amsterdam members on that tribe. I would love to see her have some fun with them before she leaves.

Well I guess that’s it for this week, let’s see what next week has to offer. I am starting to piece things together with the more information I receive. Trying my best to ensure I go deep in the game without changing who I am.
