Back to last round: at the challenge, we creamed the other tribe. However, that is primarily because two of their tribe members did not even COMPETE! Like wtf, you're on a new tribe why would you not even attempt the challenge...unless maybe...they threw it? It's doubtful, but it might make sense because they're trying to get rid of Bruxelles members and now both Ricky and Steuart are gone. I heard that Jasmine bluffed an idol, but who knows what went down over there?
As for the hidden immunity idol, I am pretty sure somebody has it on our tribe. According to Ian and I, we believe that somebody on the original Bruxelles tribe got it, but the only people left are me, Dorothy, Burnie, and Carrie. Dorothy and I do not have it. I am willing to bet either Burnie or Carrie has it, but I feel like Carrie would tell us. Honestly, sometimes I feel so dumb. I feel so behind in all of the strategic information so I'm going to have to start working my butt off more in terms of my social game. Regardless of whether somebody has the Bruxelles idol, I will still continue trying to crack the code and I won't assume things until I see it with my own eyes. The Lux idol is gone from Jasmine so at least there's one out of the running. I feel like Tim might have the exile idol since he's gone so much. That's why I want him on my side.
Speaking of Jasmine, she's basically an ass. Her bitchy comments rile me up. It's great though because it creates more excitement! However, I know it's all a persona because I've heard mostly nice things about Jasmine outside of the public accusations/taunts. In fact, Glyn and Shelli were the next two people voted out which officially makes Jasmine the only non-Amsterdam member on the other tribe. That could bode well for us if there is a merge situation which should be coming up soon. Since last season merged at 10 and started with 24 people, I am willing to bet the merge this season is around 12 since there's 27 people. That either means another double-boot council or two more challenges until the merge. That's extremely close. Now is the time to start building bonds and creating tight-knit alliances that will stick going into the merge.
Dorothy and I were discussing creating a group chat within our tribe with the people we want an alliance with. That would consist of myself, her, Burnie, Carrie, Dustin, and Tim. We want Ian as well, but I'm a little more wary of him just in case he does have some kind of connection still with Jaclyn and Kathy. However, he has given me a lot of information about the pre-merge on the original Lux tribe so far so I'm willing to trust his judgement right now. I think we could make this alliance of 7 work going into the merge and if not, there's always the possibility of Jasmine, who apparently targeted Jaclyn at some point??? It's all so fuzzy, but hopefully it will work out. The idols are one of the big what-ifs that can change everything and I haven't even been to exile which makes me upset, but at this point, the idol is probably gone and it would just isolate me from my tribe. The only reason I would want to go is to get a clue for the idol hidden back at camp. The two clues currently here suck dick and I'm an idiot. I was literally the salutatorian of my graduating class and I can't even solve a stupid riddle...cry me a river.
I think the not-so-subtle pagonging of Bruxelles members is coming to a halt since we are officially down to 4 members and not even a big threat anymore. Amsterdam has 6 members and the 4 on the other tribe seem to be sticking together very well. Hopefully we can win this next challenge, get another clue to the camp idol, and wipe out some of the Amsterdam members over there. Otherwise, if Bruxelles went to tribal, I think Jaclyn and Kathy would be on the chopping block, but I have no idea who they would be targeting. Until, then, I don't want to worry about that.
