Welcome, Benelux, to your first Tribal Council and the sixteenth Tribal Council of the game.
We'll now bring in our Jury.
Jasmine and Cody, eliminated by default last week.
Let's get down to business.
Burnie ~ Congrats on Immunity! Do you feel you needed it?
Carrie ~ You finally have a torch with fire! This is your first Tribal. Are you a little nervous?
Dustin ~ Why did you not understand any challenges in the mini?
Ian ~ How does it feel to know that you are as equally manipulable as your rep as you stepped down in the challenge for seemingly no reason? Do you give no fucks?
Jaclyn ~ You were backdoored and evicted first in the mini. Are you nervous?
Julia ~ How does the game change now that you've merged?
Kathy ~ You won 6 challenges during that mini and were nominated essentially week. What cases do you make to survive now that you were a denied a challenge win?
Natalie ~ You're the only Amsterdam in a group of Bruxelles. On a scale of 1-10 how nervous are you?
Tim ~ Do you want to ever return to Exile?
When you are ready, you may answer your Tribal Council Question. When you are ready to vote, you will go into your Voting History and cast your vote by Parchment. To do so, open an image-editing program such as Paint or Photobucket, upload your vote to an image-hosting service, and post it in your Confessional.
You will be using the following Parchment to vote.
You have until Noon EST Saturday to vote. You must vote for someone who is present at Tribal Council.
Tiebreaking Procedures:
If the vote ends in a tie, the players not involved in the tie will re-vote. Only those in the original tie may be eligible to be voted for. If the vote remains tied after a re-vote, those in the original tie will become Immune and the remaining members of the tribe will draw rocks. The person who chooses the oddly covered rock will be eliminated. If a tribe is down to four members, and a tie and a re-vote do not settle the Tribal Council, the players involved in the tie will face off in a Fire-Making Challenge.

Julia ~ How does the game change now that you've merged?
Well Katia, the game changes a ton. For one, tribal immunity is no more and individual immunity is what we seek...so that means the people who are better at challenges start becoming threats rather than being valuable.
This also means that people are going to start looking out for their best interest since it's an individual game now.
Another factor that usually comes into play at the merge is the matter of old tribal lines. Of course, Natalie is the only Amsterdam member and many people might take that as a sign that she automatically gets Cody and Jasmine's jury votes which makes her a threat to some. It also means that Bruxelles will probably form cracks in the powerhouse tribe that it originally was during the swap.
Honestly, the merge changes so much. Anything can and will happen at this point.

You won 6 challenges during that mini and were nominated essentially week. What cases do you make to survive now that you were a denied a challenge win?
Well tbh that challenge made a lot of things very clear and one of those things is that at least a couple of people (including me) are on the outside of something big. Did it suck to lose after winning so many comps? Yeah, but I expected it. I'm kicking myself for putting so much effort into it when I had a paper to do and knew I couldn't win, but whatever. I am not going to try and blame anyone for my position. I know I haven't been around much and I paid the price for that today. However, I don't think getting rid of me at this point is a good idea. There's clearly a big group who were sticking together today and I have no real established relationships with anyone. Only 2 or 3 people can make the end, not 7 or 8. I could be useful later when things start to splinter and I'm completely open to hearing anything from anyone at this point. Feel free to approach me if you'd like.

Ian ~ How does it feel to know that you are as equally manipulable as your rep as you stepped down in the challenge for seemingly no reason? Do you give no fucks?
It's really not as simple as stepping down for "seemingly no reason". That challenge, by design, was going to be won by someone who didn't need to win it. Don't get me wrong, that was a super enjoyable challenge. But the very nature of the mini meant that the winner would be someone who was liked by enough people that they'd willingly give them immunity. Now do I think I needed it? No I didn't think I needed it. If I am wrong about that, then that also means I wasn't going to actually get the immunity. So I didn't really lose anything by stepping down.
Additionally, with as strong as Kathy was in the comps, it's very likely she'd have beaten me in whatever part III of that HOH was and she'd take Burnie to the end over me anyways. Yes that's a bit of me being presumptuous but the way that little game went I think it's a logical enough plausible conclusion. So again, the chances of me actually WINNING immunity were slim to non existent.
So in the moment I figured I might as well have fun with the dynamic that existed. I am playing as Ian Rosenberger and I am enjoying myself QUITE a bit. When I saw the chance to play out his story in a similar environment, I took it. If that makes you question my desire to be in the game and whether or not I give a fuck, then I'm sorry you feel that way. I was quite simply ~HAVING A FUN TIME~, a concept with which you seem entirely unfamiliar.

Burnie ~ Congrats on Immunity! Do you feel you needed it?
I dunno! As Ian touched on, the fact that people were willing to give me it means I probably wasn't on the table for the vote, but it could have also been a "lesser of two evils" type thing so I'm thrilled to have it regardless. Although honestly I'm more happy I won the mini than I won immunity - that thing was a TON of fun and I love the jokey times we can have. Plus my Dr. Burnie arc was iconic.

Dustin ~ Why did you not understand any challenges in the mini? okay so first i was multitasking during that challenge and second the only one I truly didn't understand the first time reading was the name the song one, I genuinely thought we had to name the artist and only by like the 3rd song did I figure this one out. All the other times it was just getting pushed up by messages too quickly and honestly I hate BB and I hate minis so I had no plan to actually try. I had much more fun just shit posting the entire time and to me it's all about having fun

I'm assuming that 10 is being very nervous, in which case that is what I am.

Jaclyn ~ You were backdoored and evicted first in the mini. Are you nervous?
No, a challenge is a challenge and I was not a Big Brother fan. Sure I was evicted first, but since this game started late, gave me more time to relax. For once...
