Ok it is time for a recap...
So Julia approached me and was like
and I'm like
Then she's like
So um peeps want you gone but I like you so, I don't want you to go
She then tells me that Burnie/Ian/Dustin think I'm a threat and want me to go and that Dorothy has been pushing me to go
me:
side thought Although to be fair Ian already told me that Burnie had wanted me out this round so it is possible that Ian and Dustin said yes in some group chat just to save face and actually didn't want me out, but there is no way to know for sureThen Julia proceeds to tell me that the boot order was supposed to be Kathy then me then Jaclyn, which honestly didn't surprise me and I figured that out from the get. But it does make me feel uneasy that everyone was telling me there are no deals and it is a free for all and that is not actually the case. There are still things people are not telling me, and I'm slowly getting a tad bit more info, but still not enough to be able to make a comfortable guess on the true logistics of the tribe and gain some solid alliance and gain control of the game.
She said that Burnie/Ian/Dustin/Dorothy were close and needed to be broken up and that Tim was on board and she needed to talk with Carrie about it.
So I then decide to go talk to Tim about everything to see what was actually happening since Ian and Dustin kept telling me that Tim was still weary of me, and that Julia was not sold on keeping me a few rounds ago and yet here we are!
I talked to Tim and he confirmed that Burnie and Ian wanted me out. Not sure if Dustin actually did and Tim is just covering for him, or if he really didn't. So yeah I'm upset that Ian is feeling that way as he was trying really hard to get to know me and make me feel safe and that he wanted to help me. I am now not sure if I can trust him.
However I ended up being very honest with Tim about things on old Amsterdam and I feel like it brought us closer. He said he heard that Burnie and Dorothy wanted to blindside him after I left so he said he wanted to work with me and was glad we cleared the air. He told me not to trust Ian and that he thinks it is best to vote Burnie out.
That is fine with me since the one thing that has been consistent with everyone is that Burnie wants me out, so for me that was the safest strategical decision to make until I could figure out who else to trust.
I then told Julia that I talked with Tim and we think getting Burnie out makes sense. I told her I would talk to Jaclyn and she said she was going to talk to Carrie.
Ian then messaged me and said they were going to try to change the target to Carrie, or Jaclyn to be safe.
I used that to try to get Jaclyn to not trust Ian so much and told her to talk to Julia for more info on what has been going on.
So meanwhile I think great, 5 people got together to make a blindside happen and hopefully we can form an alliance.
But no, then Ian messages me and is like, looks like Julia wants to do Burnie this round so that is the vote, just don't tell Dustin.
Um... now I am confused. If Julia was afraid of Burnie/Dustin/Ian being tight then why tell Ian about the vote. Also if Ian and Dustin are tight why would Ian not want to tell Dustin about the vote?
Something fishy is going on, and I am still not sure what sides people are on and who is close to who.
I thought I may be able to get a 5 person alliance this round, but after that I am not sure and worry that I was just being used as a vote and that I will be disposable next round
