Hello!

So for those who don't know me I'm Zach. I host Warriors and if you've played an ndim or proboards game within the last year we've probably played together or viewed each other, IM me if you really want to make sure. I signed up for this because Katia and I are literal best friends and I couldn't let her down and not sign up here.

I am kind of predicting a pre jury flop by me here, just because I will be in D.C from the 9th to the 15th. Meaning, like, little computer access to help with challenges, and I'll probably be spending most nights drunk off my tits so might not socialize too hard. So...YEAH, that should be fun. But I have 9 days to socialize and fucking work my magic on this tribe to keep myself safe during that week.

My one strength in these games is my social game. I'm pretty damn good at connecting with people over the most banal shit, and then working that into a strategic relationship. Everything else though I'm literally garbage at. I'm garbage at challenges, and strategically I'm pretty useless as well? Like, I have awful tastes in allies. I'm very bad at managing relationships i have and ensuring that they go my way. Those are two things to improve this game!

The goal right now is to find a squad. AKA, some people can take on the following roles (if necessary, one person can fill multiples of these roles):

~ My #1/showmance: Someone who I can bitch about the cast with and maybe aggressively showmance if they're cute (I'm thinking Dustin he's cute)
~ The gamebot: Someone I can trust to make all the "strategic decisions" and get a lot of the heat on themselves (Probably Tiff :x just based on first vibes)
~ The sidekick: Someone who makes me laugh and who I'll want to work wth (Probably "hot dogs" I don't know what his real rep name is honestly but he's funny)

A squad of four is probably enough at this point in the game -- with a tribe of 9, it's enough to make some magic happen.

Will do a cast assessment later, but overall I think this tribe is pretty cute and fun. Can't wait to pulverize some dreams.

I really know nothing about her? Lol. Like we barely talked -- I know she's a mother which means shes probably gonna be more focused on her kids than this game. Nothing wrong with that, but she's not really much of a social superstar. Don't see her lasting long probably first boot :x

Ummm, I don't mind Tim I guess? Like, he seems nice but he's very bland and non-controversial, which really is not my thing. I think this is his first game in awhile, which is COOL I guess. But honestly he's decently active so I think that will help him get through in these first bits of the game.

Now I kind of LIKE Nat so I'm sorry to see her so low. But it's mostly because I like/have talked to others more :x. But she's funny. We have this cute boston vs new york rivalry going, because I aliased as saying I'm from NYC and she is a Bostonian. So we kept on bashing each other's cities n shit. HOWEVER, I am actually like 45 minutes outside of Boston, so it was kinda hilarious to trash on each other's cities, when we're basically from the same place <3

UNFORTUNATELY, she is not very active, so that's why i got her so low.

Now I hope Holly isn't too UPSET when she sees this. I do like her a lot, but she has really sketched me out. Our first conversation was essentially us saying hello to each other and then her asking for an alliance between the two of us. Then twenty minutes later she said she wanted an alliance of Duncan and me. Ten minutes after that, the three of us were in a group chat

Like, I won't lie, there's something refreshing about skipping the foreplay of alliances. Like, usually there's a lot of small talk that you gotta go through before you both feel comfortable enough to say "Hey, let's work together!" Holly apparently does not care about any of that -- she's willing to just go in dry and alliances right away. But that's not really how I roll? Like, to me that bonding is the best part of the game even if others find it kind of like a chore. And the fact that Holly was willing to make an alliance with Dustin and I before she really got to know us was...a bit of a red flag at best. At best, she'll be a liability. At worst, she's going to be chaotic and tank my game for being too close to her.

I don't know if Dustin feels the same way. We both make a lot of ironic "queen Holly" jokes, and we both talk about how much we really like her and trust her and all that. I don't know if that's how he TRULY feels though.

Tiffany kind of falls under that same "non-controversial" category that Tim falls under. Why is she so high? I honestly am NOT sure. She says some legitimately out of left field shit that makes me laugh. Like she told me today that she sometimes eats while she's taking a shit and I was like..





And I dunno, she seems to have a good head on her shoulders. At the very least, I think she will be okay to work with during the first part of this game even if we kinda drift apart later on.

Pretty chill dude! We have a lot in common -- both college students, both lament how fast this summer went by etc. He's definitely someone I could see myself working with throughout this game but...I dunno. We just haven't hit that "SPARK" yet iykwim. Like, I have no driving desire to really talk to him and get to know him, and I know that's probably mostly my fault. But it's only like day 2, so there's still plenty of time for that spark to develop.

<3 hot dogs lmao. This dude is honestly hilarous. Him and I get along really well in the sense that we have a lot in common and I think we have a pretty similar sense of humor. He's a very scattered conversationalist. We both jump from one topic to another like really fast but there's still a lot of flow in the conversation I guess? But yeah -- very funny, very personable guy. I want to work with him closely on this tribe, if only because I want to see how he acts strategically.

I do a lot of pre-game judging based on rep choices, and I kind of FIGURED Dustin would be someone I get along with. People who go for the "HOT" rep picks are people I usually get along with pretty well and Dustin is no exception!!! I can gush and gush on for him for a few sentences, but it's like 3AM so let it suffice that he is totally my #1 in terms of people I like and people I trust. Our first converstaion he sent me links to nude pictures of his rep so like...I feel like that's a great way to start off a friendship in these games? Anyway, he's funny, cute, and knows how to hold a fun conversation so he's a keeper. I told him that he was my #1 and he told me I was his as well...so hopefully that's the case here.


He also introduced me to pokemon showdown and honestly skewered my ass I lost 7 matches in a row to him I'm bad:(


That's the "Cody says general nice things about everyone" segment <3 Right now, I'm still working on getting the ~squad~ together. I have the alliance with Holly, but I honestly do not know if I want to pursue actually including her in the SQUAD so to speak. Dustin doesn't seem to really like Tiffany, so it seems like Austin and hot dogs are going to be the main members of this squad. The testosterone is suffocating but I'm going to ignore it for now. Right now, we have a few easy boots on this tribe, so I'm willing to coast for awhile

UGGHH so this challenge was bad for two reasons

1) We lost! Thankfully we got second, so it's not too bad. But it still sucks to go to tribal round 1.

2) Dustin got sent to exile!! This is actually probably the worst thing for me. Like, Dustin is very much my #1 ally, and he honestly is someone I wanna run shit by throughout this whole process. But every time something happens or someone says something, I go to message him and then I remember I can't! And things ARE HAPPENING

First of all, Tiffany decided to talk game with me for the first time in ever. But it like -- was NOT very constructive. She told me that Amber had mentioned a target to her in Austin...but then later on in the evening said the target changed to Nat. From there, she said she didn't really care which one left because she was just gonna vote with majority



Like, its pretty clear to me that Tiffany is trying to play the mastermind. She wants to influence the vote but make sure that she is making none of the decisions herself. Everything she says is "Oh he/she told me this" when that's really what she wants. Now, to me, that makes it risky for me to tell her anything because she will probably tell someone else "Oh Cody said this" and possibly get me in trouble. Also, saying you "Just want to vote with majority" does not really make me feel good. Because if the majority was on me, what are the odds she'd try to save me? Fucking zero.

Speaking of that, Tiff has actually already used my name. Holly does not really like Tiff already because she thinks Tiff is sketchy (which I agree with), and apparently Tiff told Holly that Tiff and I were close. Which, of course, caused Holly to kinda freak out and get a little suspicious of me. I'm like...



So yeah, will definitely be a bit hesitant talking to Tiff in the future.

Moving on to Austin and Natalie. Like I said earlier, I do really like them both. Natalie has suddenly become active -- apparently she was in some defensive driving class. Natalie told me that she really liked me and wanted to work with me and suggested Austin as a third. Works for me, they both seem like smart people who will stay by my side. So now, I'm in an alliance chat with both of them but -- awkward! They are both the suggested targets this round. Whatever am I to do?

My goal right now is to make my prediction come true and get Amber out. She's just not pulling her weight socially, but she seems to have temporarily bought herself safety because she was the first person to suggest a target. And this tribe seems very much a tribe that will follow the leader on the first name as long as it isn't them. And letting Amber have that power -- especially when I don't feel very connected with her -- is setting a VERY dangerous precedent that could get me in trouble if she decides to set her sights on me. Honestly, it shouldn't be very difficult? I've told Austin and Nat that I want Amber out and they agreed, so that is 3 votes out of 8. Hot dogs (who was not around much tonight, and who I'm afraid is kind of pushing himself into irrelevancy and an early boot) told me earlier that he wanted Amber out so that should be four. I should also be able to nudge Holly into doing it, and the rest of the votes should fall into place from there.

I make it sound like slightly complex...but honestly it really isn't. Amber is socially inactive and dead weight -- she's an easy first target.

Also my like...reliance on Dustin is really weird because I never get too attached with someone THIS early on in the game. Like it's barely round 1 and I've already found a ride or die that I seemingly can't live without.

Him going to exile is probably actually better for my game? Just because it forces me to make connections without him. But it will probably come to the detriment of Dustin and I's actual relationship.

I'm laying the groundwork to get him included in the alliance with austin/nat, and I'll lay the groundwork to get him included in anything else I'm a part of.

amber should be leaving tonight. She has been saying 3 different peoples names -- nat austin and holly -- and they've all heard by now and want her out. Tiff, Tim, Hotdogs, etc. everyone is writing her name down I think.

It's been pretty quiet today, not a whole lot to report. The alliance with Natalie and Austin had our first bitch session today over Tiffany. We all agreed she was kind of sketchy, and a bit game botty. To be honest, she does make me nervous, however I think I am someone she trusts. So it's probably not smart to take her out so early?

Natalie also suggested adding a fourth to our group, and I jumped on the opportunity to suggest Dustin. I definitely downplayed the relationship Dustin and me had, saying that it was smart to add him because he was at exile so he wouldn't have developed any relationships. Thankfully, Austin and Natalie both like Dustin, so it was pretty easy to get them on board.

And...yeah, that's about it. I've decided that Tim is like officially super boring, and I'd like to see him leave next. However, that might be a problem if Tiffany suddenly likes him for whatever reason. But that's a bridge we can cross when we get there : )
